The Normal Christian Life by Watchman Nee

Shortly after God led me to establish the Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, in June, 1965, someone gave me a copy of The Normal Christian Life. At that time, I was searching for a deeper understanding of what the Christian life is all about.

I can sincerely say this book has been used of God more effectively in my life than any book outside the Bible itself. Watchman Nee has put into words the true simplicity of the victorious Christian life. His emphasis is "Christ in you."

Every new convert ought to read this book immediately after his conversion. If I had known of this book after my conversion in 1952, 1 could have avoided wasting many, many years struggling to please God through Christian service. Down through the years, I have distributed hundreds of copies of this book to my friends.

The best description of this book is "revelation." There is no question in my mind but what God has given to Watchman Nee special wisdom in defining the dynamic of the Christian life as no other man has. You will probably read the book several times. Each

time. the Holy Spirit will make the indwelling of Christ a more blessed reality to you.

DR. JERRY FALWELL

Dr. Jerry Falwell was born August 11, 1933, in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is married to Macel Pate Falwell, and they have three children-Jerry Ir., Jeannie, and Jonathon. Dr. Falwell was converted to Christ as a result of hearing Dr. Charles E. Fuller on the Old Fashioned Revival Hour broadcast.

He established the Thomas Road Baptist Church in June, 1956., This church is now the fastest-growing and one of the largest in the world. They have 13,000 members. Lynchburg is a city of. 53,000. Besides television and radio, the church operates Elim Home for Alcoholics, Treasure Island Youth Camp for young people, Lynchburg Christian Academy, Lynchburg Baptist College, Thomas Road Bible Institute, Lynchburg Baptist Theological Semi-nary, and several other ministries.
