The Lord said, "Ye shall now the truth and the truth shall make

you free."

Why not tell the truth? One reason we may avoid the truth is that we don't like to hurt someone's feelings. Especially if it's a friend.

Then too, it may not be politically correct. Or, sometimes we prefer to believe what we've been taught, even if we suspect it may not be true.

Very often the truth makes us uncomfortable, especially if it reveals something about ourselves. It also makes us uncomfortable if it disagrees with something we claim to believe. The truth may force us to re-evaluate something we've always maintained to be true, but real truth is revealing it as untrue. So usually we simply ignore the truth, hoping it will just go away.

Today we are being taught three lies. First, we are told that all life came about by chance - there is no Creator God. Second, we are being told that a nuclear war must be at least seven years away because there will be a seven-year "tribulation" first. Third, we are being told that the modern Bibles are superior. Timing is the base for all three of these lies. Satan has learned how to manipulate truth by using a lie based on time.
