WORD MINISTRIES, INC. was organized as a result of intercessory prayer. In 1976 a group of women began meeting with a burning desire to meet the needs of others. As problem situations were presented to us we searched the Word of God for answers. The scriptures were written in prayer form so we could all lift our voices together as one voice to our Heavenly Father. The Spirit of God became our constant teacher and guide individually and cooperatively in our prayer lives. We began to witness answers to our prayers which were prayed according to the Scriptures. WORD MINISTRIES, INC. is a ministry designed by God to teach and train others how to pray effectively, and to help promote the teaching ministries of others who have been called by God.

PRAYER IS POWERFUL

Prayer is not a religious form without power. It is effective and accurate and brings results. God watches over His Word to perform it. Prayer is the "living" Word in your mouth. Commit yourself to pray and to pray correctly by approaching the throne with your mouth filled with His Word!
