I Am My Brothers Keeper
I Am My Brothers Keeper
"I Am My Brother's Keeper" is a reflection of the Biblical story about Cain and Abel. It is intended to close the gap between Christian theology and secular beliefs when it comes to how we treat others and how Jesus's love is the love we should all seek to mimic in this world. My hope and prayer is that you will find this book both engaging and meaningful. Use the signed agreement at the end of the book to hold yourselves accountable to being your brother's keeper. If you fail, that's ok because we all make mistakes and when you do, look at that agreement and remember the commitment you made. Post it on your wall, keep it on your mirror, or on the fridge. Just continue to remind yourself of what God expects of us and strive to the be person you can be. I was always told as a child that in order to be a friend, one must show themselves friendly. I'm a firm believer of this to this day. Thank you for reading and may God continue to bless and keep you. This is a book that is especially necessary for all minority children, black, hispanic, or mulatto, girls or boy, who are Christian or their parents are Christian. Even if you're not a minority, a Christian, or your child is not a minority or maybe not Christian, this book will still help to educate any child on the foundational elements of fair treatment of all people and holding oneself accountable to doing the right thing by following the patterns set forth by Jesus Christ. This book is not intended to force religion but to encompass Bible teaching that will lead to the saving of all those who come in contact with God's word, His truth, and find refuge in being a Child of God.
