Described in this book is the courage and faith of Belarusian Christians who refused to give up on their church building that was forcefully purchased by the City Authorities.

During those tough times, during the peak of the crisis, when Ambulances were driving believers away who were weakened by the hunger strike, something great did happen.

A biblical-scale miracle took place, a miracle that became known to and inspired thousands of Christians worldwide!

This book is about...

  •   Christians holding the hunger strike for 23 days.
  •   What kind of spiritual and emotional pressure they had to undergo.
  •   What kind of a wonderful leading of the Holy Spirit was there amidst those circumstances.
  •   Self-denial and courage of Belarusian Christians.
  •   Their pastor being invited to the President's Administration and what he heard there.
  •   9 European nations' Ambassadors and the USA Ambassador visiting the church.
  •   The church getting a "Courage Award" of the National Human Rights Association.

And many other things are also described in this book.

Slava Gocharenko is the Full Gospel Union's Bishop in Belarus and the senior pastor of New Life Church located in Minsk, Belarus. This church has over 1,200 people and has 10 branch churches all over the nation. The church positively influences the Belarusian society thru the preaching of the Gospel and charitable activities.

Slava experienced God's call for full-time ministry when he was 21 years old. In 1992 the Lord revealed Himself to him and gave him a clear vision for his life—to lead his generation to God.

This is what Slava dedicates his life to.

Slava preaches the Word of God both in Belarus and in other nations.

Pastor Slava cooperates with ministers of different denominations to build up the Body of Christ in Belarus.

In 2006 he received the national "Courage Award" of the Belarusian National Human Rights Association.

Pastor Slava resides with his wife, Iryna, and their daughters Karolina, Meelana, and Estera in Minsk.
